FORUM Rules and Community Guidelines

MARS EQUITY (MEQ) serves as a platform dedicated to learning and researching technical analysis in financial markets through a strategic approach. While we are committed to openness and transparency, we do have specific boundaries in place to protect our members, safeguard our infrastructure, and maintain a healthy community.

Purpose of MEQ Forum:

MEQ Forum exists to facilitate learning about the system developed by our mentor. As long as you adhere to our rules, we encourage you to utilize MEQ for comprehending the mentor's insights and participating in our educational programs.

Guidelines

MEQ Forum & Membership Main Rules

Users are allowed to have only one account. Multiple account registrations are not permitted.
Brokers must register with corporate email IDs, while regular accounts are intended for individual users.
Do not post links or references to content or websites containing viruses or malware.
Avoid contentious political discussions, defamatory language, threats, discrimination, hate speech, or personal attacks.
Use English in main public chat rooms and for all public comments to ensure comprehension.
Refrain from posting personal contact information offline.
Do not share links or posts containing illegal content, erotica, pornography, or nudity.
Posting content that is not your original work or infringes on third-party copyrights is prohibited.
Avoid advertising, direct marketing, or solicitation.
Do not spread rumors, unsubstantiated information, or unsourced news. Any news event shared should include a corroborating source.

How bans work

Breaking the aforementioned rules may result in a warning or a ban, with durations ranging from 5 minutes to 1 month, depending on the violation and previous ban history. First-time or minor violations usually warrant warnings or short bans, with longer bans imposed for subsequent violations. Before permanent banning, two steps—1 week and then 1 month bans—are typically enforced. However, accounts may be permanently banned immediately for:

Duplicate memberships
Spamming
Spreading malware
Being linked to other duplicate accounts
Publishing inappropriate or plagiarized content

Note that paid members are subject to warnings and bans like other users when it comes to social aspects of our site and forums on social media platforms.

Personal Information

MEQ reserves the right to reset inappropriate profile pictures (DP). This action will result in the loss of the member's ability to set their DP. An inappropriate DP includes content that is discriminatory, overtly political, impersonating or ridiculing others, containing erotica or nudity, or offensive.
User IDs can be created during enrollment and changed only once afterward. Multiple memberships on MEQ are not allowed. Attempting to have multiple usernames on our forum will lead to a ban.
MEQ reserves the right to reset membership names if they contain website links, email addresses, contact information, impersonation, suggest employment by a broker or exchange, or if they are offensive.

Chats & Comments

Only members with verified phone numbers can comment on ideas shared by others.
To participate in chats, users must complete a membership form to counter spam and maintain a mature and meaningful conversation environment.
Respect other members, even in disagreement, and avoid unnecessary confrontations.
Stay on topic related to trading.
Do not monopolize conversations.
Avoid profanity or offensive language.
Refrain from excessive posting, text walls, emoji walls, chart walls, or writing in all caps.
Do not openly argue with moderators or criticize moderation in public; use private messages for disagreements.
Do not post trade calls without a snapshot or published chart for analysis support.
Avoid chart spamming (repeatedly posting the same chart without changes).
Do not boast about results; let your analysis speak for itself.
Do not dump ideas without supporting the conversation.
Prohibit links or references to websites, blogs, social media, messenger apps, crypto wallets, services, company names, giveaways, contests, or announcements.
Maintain respectful behavior and avoid insulting others.
Once posted, comments or posts cannot be edited.

Brokers

Leave reviews based on your experience.
You must have a live account with a brokerage or exchange to leave a review.
Employees of the broker or direct affiliates cannot leave reviews.
Reviews should not contain inflammatory language, defamatory statements, or violate house rules or applicable laws.
Prohibit violent, coarse language, as well as racist or sexist statements.
Reviews should not primarily focus on ethical or political opinions.
Avoid disclosing personal information about individuals.
Refrain from including promotional references or links.

Publishing Ideas

Ideas can be published on the MEQ forum after completing workshop programs and mentor review.
Published ideas are accessible on the MEQ forum group.
Published ideas should be detailed, descriptive, interesting, meaningful, and related to financial markets.
Abide by specific conditions, including using English as the main language, adhering to trading or financial market topics, and avoiding advertisements, logos, links, or references to external sites or services.
Do not use ideas to voice complaints, insult or ridicule others, or create conflicts within the community.
Avoid repeating basic market information already available on various websites unless it's part of a clear trade idea.
Ensure that ideas add value and do not create conflicts.
Violating these rules may result in warnings, deleted ideas, or restrictions on posting more ideas. Ideas cannot be edited or removed after publishing, but snapshots can be shared.

Live Streams and Stream Comments

Rules applicable to published ideas also apply to Streams and Stream Comments.
Streaming platforms should be organized and conducted by Admins, primarily using platforms like Microsoft Teams or zoom.
Exclusive streaming from other platforms is not permitted.
Avoid including copyrighted content or disturbing and adult content.
Commenters on streams must refrain from self-promotion, harassment, or posting irrelevant content.
Admins reserve the right to act swiftly when content or users violate these rules.
Interaction with MEQ members is encouraged during broadcasts.

Admins

Admins are essential members of the MARS EQUITY core team who volunteer their time to ensure the MEQ forum remains valuable and focused.
Admins do not receive compensation for their efforts.

Warning: Users will be banned / blocked permanently without notice for whatever reasons without prior notifications and also if they don't abide by the group rules mentioned above.
